Paul & Shark is one of the first brand in the fashion industry to renew its website by significantly reducing the environmental impact and energy consumption, thanks to the use of an innovative technique.

 

Paul & Shark has cut annual CO2 emissions from the web by 21%, although the website traffic has increased by 20%.

 

If web pollution were a country, it would be the third most polluting place in the world. This is where Paul & Shark commitment to a more conscious and responsible digital presence comes from.

The project "eco web site" of which Paul & Shark is a pioneer in the fashion segment, has followed a process of analysis starting from the measurement of emissions of the previous site, run in collaboration with Karma Metrix

The substantial saving of CO2 has been made possible mainly thanks to the "eco view" function, which allows a display of low energy consumption pages, along with other measures to optimize the process of viewing videos and images.

The improvement of the customer experience was instead at the center of the redesign of the site: the result is a more impactful and engaging graphics. The user can experience the brand world in an immersive way.
