Responsible Company
The daily commitment of a sustainable company
Paul & Shark has made environmental sustainability a core commitment, integrating it into every aspect of its business operations. With a careful and responsible approach to resource management, the company has launched several initiatives to optimize water consumption. Thanks to the installation of an innovative 'biofilter'—a biological treatment and recycling system that uses bacteria to purify water—Paul & Shark reuse the same water for up to seven years.

While the company has focused on improving water efficiency, it has also prioritized energy efficiency. The brand’s headquarters is equipped with a photovoltaic system that allows it to produce clean energy independently, and since 2021, it has used only electricity from renewable sources. Even the digital world has been involved in the technological innovation process supporting a sustainable approach: since 2023, the Paul & Shark website features an 'eco-view' function, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions generated by online activity. Through all these actions, Paul & Shark proves every day that innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand, reaffirming its commitment to the planet.
2024
Thanks to the website restyling project carried out between 2022 and 2024, Paul & Shark reduced CO₂ emissions generated by the site by 55%, despite an increase in traffic and views.
In 2024, as in 2023, all operational sites used electricity sourced 100% from renewable energy.
Approximately 75% of the electricity produced by the photovoltaic systems at the headquarters was self-consumed.
Thanks to its photovoltaic systems, more than 138,000 kg of CO₂ were avoided in 2024—equivalent to the amount absorbed in one year by approximately 1,576 black birch trees.
In 2024, the photovoltaic systems at the headquarters produced more than 540,000 kWh of electricity.
