THE FAMILY
In the 1920s, in the heart of Italy, Maglificio Dacò was born—a small workshop that soon became a symbol of artisanal mastery and quality. Maglificio Dacò was later acquired by Gian Ludovico Dini and marked the beginning of Paul & Shark: a story rooted in strong know-how in modern craftsmanship, destined to be passed down through generations within the family.

THE BRAND
In 1976, the Paul & Shark brand was officially born, forever changing the destiny of Maglificio Dacò. During a trip to Maine, Paolo Dini, eldest son of Gian Ludovico, came across an old work sail from the late 18th century. The inscription 'Paul & Shark' shone like a sign of destiny. Thus, the brand came to life—right from the start inspired by the ocean, with a true sense of journey embedded in its DNA.
