INTEGRATED PRODUCTION FROM THE VERY BEGINNING
On 4 March 1957 the Maglificio Daco mill, founded in 1921, reopened its doors thanks to the new owner Gian Ludovico Dini who, nine years later, changed its name to Dama S.p.A. Every aspect of the production took place within the company, from the production of yarns to the creation of the boxes used to package the clothing. Items were even shipped throughout the world thanks to a prestigious partnership with Christian Dior and Balenciaga.
A JOURNEY AND AN INSPIRATION
At the start of the 1970s Paolo Dini, the eldest son of Gian Ludovico, foundind himself by chance in a small sailmaker's workshop during a trip to Maine, where the sail from an old 18th-century clipper caught his attention. Its inscription read: Paul&Shark,: and iIt was fate.

The brand's aim has always been to seek excellence both in the quality of its products and the manufacture of its materials, guaranteeing a rigorous selection process based on precise standards. Paul&Shark creates sportswear, smart casual and luxury lines, combining technical fabrics with elegant and stylish details.
A YACHTING COLLECTION
This collection dates back to the mid-1970s, when Paul&Shark launched the sports fashion sector with a collection inspired by the world of sailing and based on its elegance, performance and spirit of adventure.
THE BIRTH OF AN ICON
In 1978 its C0P918 pullover was born: a sailing sweater that would become an icon of the Paul&Shark style. Instantly recogniszable from its packaging, a long metal can that can be used on board ships as a multi-purpose container, this garment found immediate success and signmarked the start of a whole new water repellent knitwear collection.

Over the years the company has expanded greatly to become a comprehensive luxury sportswear range, appreciated by the fans of Italian fashion and high-performance technical materials, many of which have been patented by Paul&Shark.
AN INTERNATIONAL BRAND
Today our collections (men's, women's, children's and accessories) are available throughout the world in 73 different countries, 458 cities and 474 points of sale, of which more than 280 are Paul&Shark monobrand boutiques located in the most exclusive shopping areas, from Milan - Via Montenapoleone, to Paris - Rue du Faubourg St. Honore', New York - Madison Avenue - Nanjing Road, Dubai - Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, Moscow - Gum.

A SOLAR COMPANY
With the installation of over 500 solar panels at its headquarters, Paul&Shark has become a true Green Company. These panels are able to transform the sun's rays into electricity, providing 123,000 kWh of power which covers around 15% of the company's annual energy needs.
A PIONEERING LOGISTICS CENTRE
The company's distribution centere covers a surface area of over 30,.000 square meteres and it is the final stop before our goods are shipped to stores throughout the world.
The Admiral s Collection by Paul&Shark is a sophisticated and contemporary collection that draws inspiration from the traditional British Royal Navy. Blue, white and a hint of red for the palette of typical nautical colours

The high-tech sporty line draws inspiration from the state-of-the-art vessel belonging to the class of ORC sailing, famous for its excellent high speed features and performance. Like the model, even the selection of highly technical garments is able to provide high level features without fearing the most extreme conditions.
